Central Seattle Greenways is a group of neighbors who are working to make our streets safer and more comfortable for everybody. We are one of the many neighborhoods involved in the Seattle Neighborhood Greenways coalition. Our grassroots organization is staffed and run by volunteers, with much help and support from SNG staff.
We mostly work on projects in Capitol Hill, Central District, Yesler Terrace, Leschi, and Madrona, but our volunteers sometimes take on projects that are citywide or outside our neighborhood limits. We often collaborate with our partners and other neighborhood groups in the Seattle Neighborhood Greenways coalition.
We are committed to prioritizing racial equity in our advocacy, and we recognize that our goal of safety for all can only be achieved by including the needs and experiences of neighbors of all races and ethnicities.
